Quantumaze Technologies LLP (“Quantumaze”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a Limited Liability Partnership registered in Kapurthala, Punjab, India, operates the website at quantumaze.com and the tools and services available through it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
When you submit an inquiry through our “Start a project” or contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your work email address
- Your company name (optional)
- Your phone number (optional)
- A description of your project and its type
- Your preferred budget range and timeline (optional)
When you request notification of a forthcoming tool, we collect your email address for that purpose only.
If you purchase a paid feature (such as a custom QR code), we collect the email address to which the output should be delivered. Payment details are processed directly by our third-party payment provider; we do not receive or store your card number.
1.2 Tool usage data
The free tools on quantumaze.com — the QR code generator, email signature generator, WhatsApp link generator, and passport/visa photo generator — process all input data entirely within your browser. No content you enter into these tools (names, phone numbers, logos, WiFi passwords, message text, etc.) is transmitted to or stored on our servers under normal operation.
This applies equally to photos used with the passport/visa photo generator: the photo is decoded, cropped, checked, and exported entirely on your device and is never uploaded to us or to any server. See our Terms of Service for important disclaimers regarding the accuracy and currency of the country-specific photo requirements this tool references.
Future paid features may require us to receive and process certain data server-side (for example, to generate and email a custom QR code). In those cases, we will clearly explain what data is collected at the point of purchase.
1.3 Automatically collected information
When you visit our website, we and our analytics partners automatically collect certain technical information, which may include:
- IP address (anonymised where possible)
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited, time on page, and navigation path
- Referring URL
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website and Tools. Beyond the standard page-visit data above, we also send a limited set of in-Tool interaction events — for example, which Tool and output format was used to download something, which step of a multi-step Tool was reached, or which country specification was selected. These events record what action was taken and in which Tool, never the content you typed, uploaded, or generated: no name, email address, phone number, message text, photo, or similar input is ever included in an analytics event. Shareable-link URLs that some Tools generate (which encode your form state so you can resume later) are also deliberately excluded from the page path we send to Google, since that URL can contain such content.
Additional analytics or performance monitoring tools may be introduced in the future; this policy will be updated accordingly.
1.4 Cookies and local storage
We use:
- Browser local storage — to remember your tool settings (for example, your email signature preferences) between visits. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us.
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics (and potentially other analytics tools in the future) to track aggregate usage patterns. You may disable these through your browser settings or a browser extension designed for this purpose.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your project inquiries and deliver our software development services
- Send you tool launch notifications you have requested
- Deliver paid tool outputs to the email address you provide
- Understand how our website and tools are used so we can improve them
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use your contact details for unsolicited marketing and we will not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We use third-party companies to help us operate our website and deliver services — for example, cloud infrastructure, email delivery, and payment processing. These providers access your data only as necessary to perform their services for us and are contractually required to protect it.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by applicable Indian law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers: If Quantumaze is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. International data transfers
Our website is accessible to visitors worldwide. If you are located outside India, your information will be transferred to and processed in India and in the countries where our service providers operate. By using our website, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled in accordance with this policy regardless of where it is processed.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data transfer restrictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers as required by applicable law.
5. Data retention
We retain project inquiry submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping and legal compliance purposes. Tool notification email addresses are deleted once we have sent the relevant notification or once the tool has launched. Paid feature data (such as delivery email addresses) is retained for the period required to complete the delivery and for statutory record-keeping periods.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting legal@quantumaze.com.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Object to or request restriction of certain processing
- Receive your data in a portable format (where applicable)
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at legal@quantumaze.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.
7. Children
Our website and tools are general-purpose utilities not specifically directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at legal@quantumaze.com and we will delete it promptly.
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you provide your information at your own risk.
9. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy applies only to quantumaze.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
